For years, I found myself dreaming of travel. But as a self-proclaimed hot mess, seeing the world always felt just out of reach. “Real life” always seemed to get in the way. Even when I managed to find the time and money, the logistics of traveling seemed overwhelming. It wasn’t until I just dove in and mastered a few skills and practices that my travel wish list started to become a reality.

Mise en place means “everything in its place,” a culinary term referring to preparing and pre-measuring ingredients ahead of time.

Meesh En Place means I’ve done the research and prep work, and have everything in place so I can fully enjoy my travels and checking destinations off my wish list.
